Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and — with your consent — to personalise ads if we run advertising.
Which cookies does BudgetPlanner use?
We use four categories of cookies, and only the strictly necessary ones are always on. Everything else — analytics and advertising — is set only after you consent.
- Strictly necessary — session, security, load balancing. Always on.
- Preferences — language, currency, UI state.
- Analytics — aggregated usage via Google Analytics / Microsoft Clarity. Off by default in the EU/UK.
- Advertising — Google AdSense, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising conversion / remarketing tags. Only set with your consent, per Google's EU user consent policy and Microsoft's advertising policies.
How do I change or withdraw my consent?
You can change your choice at any time by clicking the button below or clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site.
Do third parties set cookies here?
Third parties (Google, Microsoft, Stripe) may set their own cookies subject to their own policies. See Google and Microsoft.
